A ground resistance tester is an instrument used to measure the electrical resistance between an earthing system and the actual ground. This type of measurement is essential to ensure electrical safety in installations, preventing electric shocks, fires, and ensuring the proper operation of protective devices such as circuit breakers and surge protection devices (SPDs).
