The device provides 5 dry-contact digital inputs, 2 digital relay outputs, 2 RJ11 ports for 1-Wire UNI sensors, 1 RS-485 Modbus/RTU interface and a dedicated WLD-L input for water leak detection and location.

Scalable DIN Rail Architecture

The Perseus Industrial 310 starts with 5 digital inputs and 2 relay outputs. When additional capacity is required, compatible RTU-Expanders can be added through the RS-485 interface.

This modular approach allows the number of inputs and outputs to be adapted to the size of the project, without requiring replacement of the main monitoring unit as the installation grows.

WLD-L – Water Leak Detection and Location

The Perseus Industrial 310 features a 4-pin WLD-L port that can operate in two different modes:

• 1 WLD Type L zone for location-based water leak detection.
• 2 conventional WLD zones for Type A/B sensing cables.

This flexibility allows the same device to be used either for standard water presence detection or for applications where the actual location of the leak must be identified.

Meters API – Network Device Integration

The Meters API allows the Perseus Industrial 310 to collect values from other devices on the same LAN and use this data in local conditions, alerts, scripts or portal visualisation.

Data sources are supported through Modbus/RTU, Modbus/TCP, SNMP, MQTT and HWg XML, making it possible to integrate HW group devices as well as compatible third-party equipment.

The combination of RS-485 and Modbus/RTU can be used, for example, to read data from energy meters, UPS systems, air-conditioning equipment and other compatible industrial devices.

Alerts and Local Actions

The Perseus Industrial 310 can directly send email and SNMP Trap alerts. SMS and voice call alerts from the device require a compatible external SMS gateway.

The two relay outputs can be controlled through the device interface or automatically according to sensor and detector values. This enables local control actions involving, for example, air-conditioning, ventilation or other compatible equipment.

SensDesk Technology and Remote Monitoring

The Perseus Industrial 310 can be connected to platforms based on SensDesk Technology, providing centralised management of sensors, states and alerts.
