With 4 digital inputs4 analog inputs, an RS-485 interface for MODBUS RTU sensors and 4 relay outputs, the TCW242 is an excellent choice for upgrading industrial operations, improving uptime and increasing visibility of critical equipment.

The TCW242 is a top-of-the-line Industrial IoT module engineered to meet the demanding monitoring and control requirements of modern industrial applications. Thanks to its Ethernet connectivity and built-in data logging, it provides easy, centralized access to all key parameters and delivers clear insight into system performance.

The 4 analog inputs can be configured either in 0–20 mA current loop or 0–10 V voltage mode, offering maximum flexibility when connecting pressure, temperature, level, flow and energy sensors.

This Industrial IoT module supports up to 24 MODBUS RTU sensors (Teracom and third-party), enabling the configuration of 24 independent monitoring channels. Each channel can be linked to independent alarms – up to 24 alarms with 5 user-selectable states – for precise, event-driven notifications and actions.

The TCW242 communicates via widely used industrial protocols such as SNMP, HTTP API, MODBUS TCP/IP and MQTT, ensuring effortless integration with SCADA systems, building management systems, cloud platforms and third-party software, making it a core component in Industry 4.0 deployments.
