Benefits and Applications

Designed for permanent Ethernet network installation or portable use, it includes a traceable calibration certificate compliant with EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Battery-powered for continuous data logging, it allows real-time monitoring via web browser, with extensive data storage capacity up to 1 million values for thorough analysis.

  • Simultaneous measurement of temperature, relative humidity, and derived moisture parameters (dew point, absolute humidity, etc.).
  • Interchangeable probes without need for recalibration, regardless of cable length.
  • Configurable alarms with email notifications, acoustic signals, and visual indicators.
  • Flexible connectivity: Ethernet, USB, RS232, and wireless communication via Wi-Fi router.
  • Robust memory with cyclic and non-cyclic recording modes, ideal for long-term monitoring.
  • Durable design with long-lasting rechargeable batteries and continuous power supply via AC adapter.
  • Perfect for industrial environments, laboratories, sensitive product storage, and environmental monitoring.

Features

Up to 4 physical inputs — 2x MiniDin and 2x thermocouple.

Up to 4 physical Inputs

  • Pt1000 temperature probes featuring built-in configuration memory (series xxx/M).
  • Temperature and relative humidity probes with digital output — DigiS/M, DigiL/M, DIGIH/M.
  • The probes are fully interchangeable without the need for device-specific calibration, regardless of cable length. Cable lengths available are 1, 2, 5, 10, or 15 meters.
  • Thermocouple probes compatible with types K, J, S, B, T, and N.
  • Direct input for bipolar voltages within the range of -60 to +140 mV.
  • Sensors with voltage output options (range -60 to +140 mV with ±100 µV accuracy, or -18 to +18 mV with ±20 µV accuracy).

Evaluation of up to 16 variables

Evaluation of up to 16 variables

Up to 16 variables can be calculated from the four connected probes or sensors, combining both measured and derived values. These calculated variables include various moisture parameters such as dew point temperature, absolute humidity, specific humidity, mixing ratio, and specific enthalpy. Additionally, inter-channel calculations are possible, for example, the difference between two connected temperature probes.

All measured data is stored in the internal non-volatile memory, which has a capacity of up to 1 million values. The logging mode can be configured as non-cyclic—where data recording stops once the memory is full—or cyclic, where the oldest data is overwritten by new entries after the memory reaches capacity.

Measured values are displayed on a backlit screen, with options to adjust the digit size for improved readability.

Power Suplly

Power Supply

The Multilogger can be powered either by an AC adapter or by rechargeable batteries with built-in charging capability. Batteries are always included with the device, and standard alkaline AA batteries can also be used. The batteries provide power for several months of continuous operation.

When operating with the AC adapter, the batteries serve as a backup, ensuring uninterrupted recording and measurement during power outages. Additionally, thanks to the Ethernet connection, the device automatically sends an email notification in the event of a power failure.

Alarm limits and alarm indication

Alarm limits and alarm indication

It is possible to set two independent alarm limits for each channel, applicable to both measured and calculated values.

Alarm notifications can be acoustic (via built-in beeper), visual, sent as email alerts, or triggered through an alarm output. The alarm output allows connection to external audio or visual alarm devices.

Communication interfaces

Communication interfaces

Multilogger Alarm Features:

  • Sends email notifications when an alarm state begins or ends.
  • Supports DATALINK for displaying real-time values or downloading data from memory to the COMET Database on your PC. The COMET Database software offers powerful tools for data analysis, including graphs, tables, and statistics.
  • Enables simple wireless communication via a TP-LINK Wi-Fi router.
  • Compatible with third-party applications to access live measured values using universal protocols such as SNMPv1 and XML.
  • Allows viewing of current measured values directly through your web browser.

Alarm Output (ALARM OUT)

Output ALARM OUT

The output can be used to control external devices when an alarm is triggered, such as buzzers, telephone dialers, and other alert systems.

  • Output type: open collector transistor
  • Maximum switching current: 100 mA
  • Maximum output voltage: 24 V
  • Auxiliary voltage at terminal: +5 V (available only when mains power is connected)

Users receive alarms when measured values exceed preset limits. Alarm indications include an internal buzzer, three LEDs, and email alerts sent via the Ethernet connection.
