Connect STE2 PLUS to your network (LAN) and/or Wi-Fi.
Discover the IP address with HWg-Config (Windows).
Open the device’s built-in web interface.
Plug in external sensors and assign names.
Define alerts (per-sensor Safe Range / DI alarm states).

Alerting & logging

When a measured value (temperature, humidity, voltage, etc.) leaves the defined Min-Max Safe Range, the device sends an email alert.

Direct email from device: use a third-party SMTP server. Avoid public webmail (e.g., Gmail/Yahoo) due to changing security policies.
Recommended: route alerts via the Portal (HWg-cloud.com) for long-term reliability.
SMS/Voice: use SMS-GW3 / SMS-GW3 LTE over LAN. A single gateway can serve multiple devices with no portal/software required.
