Product Overview:

Using advanced infrared technology, this device allows for non-contact measurement of surface temperatures on walls, floors, ceilings, and windows—key areas where condensation and mould are likely to develop. Simultaneously, it measures the ambient temperature and relative humidity to calculate the dew point—the temperature at which moisture in the air begins to condense.

When surface temperatures approach the dew point, the risk of mould formation increases significantly. For example, at an ambient temperature of 20°C and 65% humidity, the dew point is 13.2°C. Any surface cooler than this temperature is at risk of condensation—where water droplets can accumulate and lead to mould or mildew over time.

The MOLD DETECTOR features a clear, intuitive traffic light display and bar graph that provide immediate visual feedback on mould risk, enabling you to respond quickly with appropriate heating or ventilation.
