• This stainless steel V4A penetration probe is versatile and strong and incorporates a polypropylene handle with silicone cable. 

This thermocouple type K probe is strong and verstile and incorporates a a silicone cable, polypropylene handle and has been specifically designed to measure between packs or boxes of produce.

The probe's response time is less than five seconds and it has a temperature range -65 to +550°C.. The probe dimensions (excluding handle) are 3 mm diameter x 130mm

What is V4A

V4A is a German steel grade that can get in contact with salt water without corrosion. Additional to that V4A is food safe.

V4A steel is resistant against water, water vapor, moisture, food acids, as well as organic and inorganic alkaline solutions and has many possibilities of application such as in the food industry, beverage production, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industry, In the construction of apparatus for chemicals and in the medical technique.

In these cases, it is recommended to use V4A stainless steel (material no. 1.4404) with a higher corrosion resistance, adapted to the highest requirements.
