When the display is switched on, it briefly displays the firmware version and then the temperature measured at the time. The temperature sensor is located at the tip of the probe. To measure the correct temperature, the sensor must be at least 50 mm in the medium to be measured.

To turn off the thermometer, simply press the power key for 2 seconds. The thermometer is activated and deactivated with a beep.

The display automatically adjusts to the position of the thermometer, the reading direction is always correct.

Disabling the self-off timer:

During normal operation, the thermometer displays the remaining operating time in minutes and seconds in the right-hand corner of the display (See operating instructions Fig: C 7). The thermometer switches off after the time has elapsed, a short press of the power button or a press of the menu button resets the counter. This power-off timer can be deactivated by the user: When turning on the device, press and hold the power button (1) for 4 seconds until you hear the beep.
The device displays the symbol ∞ (see operating instructions Fig: C 8), indicating the continuous symbol. To disable this function, repeat the process.
