Portable high-accuracy decibel meter Class 2 with 1/1 octave band filter PCE-428

It features a built-in octave band filter and can optionally be equipped with a one-third octave band filter for more detailed frequency analysis.

Equipped with a USB interface and internal data logging, the device supports frequency weightings A, B, C, and Z, as well as time weightings Fast, Slow, Impulse, and Peak. Measurements can be displayed both numerically and graphically for clear interpretation.

It offers a measurement range of 25 to 136 dBA and a frequency response from 20 Hz to 12.5 kHz. Users can configure up to three simultaneous measurement profiles and select specific parameters such as LAeq, LCpeak, LAFmax, LAFmin, and more.

The “Peak Hold” function allows the device to capture and display the peak value during continuous measurement. A 24-bit AD converter and specially optimized electronics ensure extremely low self-noise and high accuracy, with a sampling rate exceeding 48 kHz.
