This stainless steel V4A penetration probe is versatile and strong and incorporates a PVC handle and silicone cable.

The type K probe is suitable for many temperature measurement applications including laboratories and food industry.  

Response time less than 2 seconds and it has a temperature range -65 to +1000°C. The probe dimensions are Ø3 x 130 mm and it is suitable for use with termocouple termometers.

What is V4A

V4A is a German steel grade that can get in contact with salt water without corrosion. Additional to that V4A is food safe.

V4A steel is resistant against water, water vapor, moisture, food acids, as well as organic and inorganic alkaline solutions and has many possibilities of application such as in the food industry, beverage production, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industry, In the construction of apparatus for chemicals and in the medical technique.

In these cases, it is recommended to use V4A stainless steel (material no. 1.4404) with a higher corrosion resistance, adapted to the highest requirements.
