The chemical composition of the atmosphere is constantly changing due to the large amount of pollutants released every day. Inhalable particles are one of the most serious air pollutants in terms of public health. The M2000 Air Quality Analyzer measures PM2.5, PM10, Particles, CO2, HCHO, Temperature and Humidity.

The average daily concentrations of inhalable particles (PM10 - particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm) can be influenced by natural phenomena such as the long-distance transport of air from arid regions (transporting suspended dust), volcanic eruptions, fires forest and earthquakes.
Although PM2.5 is recognized as toxic, fine particles are one of the major air pollutants. The chemical composition of these elements is of fundamental importance for both health and climate.
