The ultimate tool for easy climate monitoring
Orbit 3 is all you need to get started with climate monitoring. The sensor is a robust wireless temperature and humidity sensor, which can run for many years without maintenance. Just place the sensor where you would like it to monitor, and get notified on your mobile phone or tablet if any threshold is exceeded.
Simply insert batteries and your are ready to monitor. Due to its low power consumption, you can monitor up to 5 years depending on the transmission interval. The Orbit 3 is crafted in with robust materials, which makes it withstand most harsh industrial environments.
How Orbit 3 works
The Orbit 3 sensor is activated by tapping on it twice. The Orbit 3 is now monitoring its environment and will transmit the data directly to the Sensohive App in real-time.
You will be able to change the frequency of the monitoring, see graphs, set up alarms, and find API documentation in the Sensohive App.
Climate monitoring made easy and simple.
Every 30 minutes, the Sensohive Orbit 3 sends four temperature and humidity readings straight to the cloud using Sigfox connectivity. The reading interval can easily be changed with an over-the-air update.
Readings are then displayed on the web interface, allowing you to quickly identify trends and anomalies in the readings. The user can also set up alerts. When the temperature or humidity shifts out of a set range, you can choose to receive either an email or SMS alert to notify you.
Users can choose to use the provided Sensohive interface, or can use a simple API integration to build their own.
Global connection without SIM card and without roaming
The Orbit K sensor does not require installation of SIM cards or Wi-Fi networks. ORBIT Sensors send data to CLOUD SIGFOX without the need for a Gateway.
In case of lack of coverage by the SIGFOX network, the use of a SIGFOX GATEWAY STATION MICRO with SIM card or Ethernet is necessary.
