Compact Dry PA - for the detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa HyServe 1002947

Compact Dry PA plates are extremely easy to use. It is sufficient to place 1 ml of the sample on the PA plate using a pipette and wait until the sample diffuses homogeneously on the PA plate. Then incubate the plate in accordance with the documentation provided with the package.

Thanks to redox indicators and chromogenic substrates, bacterial colonies develop in specific colors, making it extremely easy to differentiate and identify them.

Compact Dry PA plates can be stored at room temperature for up to 24 months without a refrigerator. In this way, you can apply samples on the spot (if necessary) or perform hygienic control with the Compact Dry Swab in place.

The screw cap enables safe transport of samples.

The plates are then incubated at the corresponding temperature specified in the respective documentation usually between 20 to 42°C.

Due to its shape and anti-slip body, it is possible to amalgamate easily, thus saving space and orderly in the incubator.

Compact Dry PA plates are incubated at 34 to 36°C for 45 to 51 hours. Thereafter, the pathogenic agent Pseudomonas aeruginosa can be detected quantitatively based on the red colonies.

The colonies usually have a yellow-green aureole. Tests show that about 20 of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains form a weak halo or even no yellow-green halo.

Compact Dry PA plates do not require a confirmatory test to detect Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

The PA plate is also suitable for the membrane filtration method for the detection of bacteria in water or other liquids.

Compact Dry PA is available in four packages with different quantities: 40, 240, 500 or 1400 plates.

Compact Dry PA as all Compact Dry plates can be stored at room temperature. It is not necessary to store in the refrigerator. The validity of Compact Dry PA is normally 15 months from the date of manufacture.
