The IR267 infrared thermometer is fast, ideal for the industry. It helps you to control temperature values by measuring without temperature contact on any surface or by the possibility of attaching a type K external temperature probe. With the programmable high and low alarm it alerts the user visually and audibly when the temperature exceeds the defined limits (the audible alarm can be silenced).

The IR267 infrared thermometer, in pistol type, is compact, light and easy to use. To measure the temperature, just point the thermometer at the target you want to measure and press the trigger, and in just 1 second the temperature appears on the display. The LCD display gives us a reading of the digital IR temperature within the range of (-58 to 1112°F) -50°C and +600°C at the external temperature by connecting a type K probe within the range of (-58 to 1832°F) -50 to 1000°C and the ambient temperature between (-4 to 158°F) -20 up to 70°C.

The equipment incorporates an easy-to-read LCD display, with low battery indication, min./max. Values, differential, average, emissivity and reading block. IR267 has the facility to automatically shut down after 10 seconds, maximizing battery life.

The device has an alignment of 1 laser point facilitating its use.

The IR267 has a panel with four keys, allowing the user to select what they want to view or configure.

Three instruments in one

The IR267 infrared thermometer incorporates a miniature plug for type K thermocouple probes, which allows the use of a wide range of type K thermocouple probes to be used in a variety of temperature measurement applications, including air, liquid and surface temperatures.

To optimize surface temperature accuracy:

  1. Determine the emissivity of the object to adjust the spectrum range of the instrument that can be used for measurement.
  2. Avoid reflection from other sources of temperature by thermally enveloping the object to be measured
  3. For high temperature objects, use smaller wavelength instruments when possible.
  4. For semi-transparent materials such as plastic films and glass, make sure that the bottom surface (behind the object) is uniform and below the temperature of the object.
  5. Hold the instrument perpendicular to the surface of the object when the emissivity is below 0.9.
  6. In all cases, do not exceed the 30 degree angle of incidence.
