Aranet4 is an innovative battery-powered stand-alone wireless sensor for monitoring CO2, temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure at home, school, office or another indoor environment. The device is portable, simple to install, easy to operate and lets you know when the monitored levels have become unhealthy.

Control your environment

Connect your smartphone with the Aranet4 device via Bluetooth by using your iOS or Android app to configure the device, view historical data, set alarms and sensor reading frequency.

Key Features:

  • Checks for Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) concentrations, temperature and humidity
  • User programmable Visible and Audible CO₂ warning alarm
  • Measurement ranges:
    • CO₂: 0 to 5000 ppm
    • Temperature: -10 to 60°C
    • Humidity: 0,0 to 99,9% RH

The importance of air quality for humans

The CO₂ concentration in indoor areas is deemed to be an essential indicator of suitable air quality. Carbon dioxide is a gas that is poisonous for humans and, depending on the concentration in the air, affects their performance, their well-being and their ability to concentrate. Even when there is a CO₂ concentration as low as 1,000 ppm, most people feel the air is not good and the above-mentioned disorders occur.

Optimal Locations for CO₂ Transmitters

  • Avoid locations where people may breathe directly onto the sensor. Also avoid placing sensors close to intake or exhaust ducts, or near windows and doorways.
  • In demand controlled ventilation wall-mounted sensors provide more accurate data on ventilation effectiveness than duct-mounted sensors. Duct-mounted sensors are best suited to single-zone systems and should be installed as close to the occupied space as possible to allow for easy maintenance access.
  • When measuring CO₂ for the purposes of personnel safety, transmitters should be installed close to potential leakage points to enable early detection. The geometry, ventilation, and airflow of the monitored area need to be taken into account. The number and location of the CO₂ transmitters should be based on a risk assessment.
