History of Innovation

Palintest’s history dates back to the 1800s when Wilkinson and Simpson was first formed. However, the pioneering moment in our history came in the 1950s as Dr Palin pioneered the use of DPD for field analysis of free and total chlorine; making water analysis accessible to all.

In 1989 the company was renamed to Palintest to honour the work of Dr Palin and shine a light on our company’s great history.

Building on the philosophy of Dr Palin, we are continually evaluating new and existing technologies to make water testing simple and accessible for everyone.

Over the years we have developed a number of market firsts and we continue to push the boundaries of innovation to improve water quality for everyone.
